Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
BadgeOS versions up to 3.7.1.6 are vulnerable to cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks. An attacker can craft a malicious webpage that, when visited by a logged-in site administrator, performs unwanted actions on the BadgeOS installation without the admin's knowledge or consent. Potential impact on your site
Administrators could unknowingly authorize changes to badge configurations, user awards, or plugin settings via CSRF attacks.
Conditions required to exploit
