What the vulnerability does
The Elementor Header & Footer Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Information Disclosure in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.43 via the hfe_template shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to view the contents of Draft, Private and Password-protected posts they do not own.
Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Ultimate Addons for Elementor versions up to 1.6.43 expose sensitive information to authenticated users. A logged-in user with low privileges can access data they should not be able to view. The vulnerability requires network access and an active user account but no additional user interaction. Update to a version newer than 1.6.43 to resolve this issue.
