What the vulnerability does
The B Slider- Gutenberg Slider Block for WP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.9.5 via the 'bsb-slider' shortcode due to insufficient restrictions on which posts can be included. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to extract data from private posts that they should not have access to.
Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
bSlider contains an access control flaw that allows authenticated users with low privileges to read sensitive data they should not access. The vulnerability affects all versions up to 1.1.23. An attacker with a standard user account can view information restricted to higher-privilege users or administrators. Update to a version newer than 1.1.23 to resolve this issue.
