What the vulnerability does
The Team Builder – Meet the Team plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the save_team_builder_options() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.3. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to update the plugin's settings.
Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Team Builder – Meet the Team versions 1.3 and earlier lack proper authorization checks, allowing authenticated users to modify data they should not have access to. An attacker with a low-privilege account can alter information without the site owner's knowledge. Update to a version newer than 1.3 to resolve this issue.
