What the vulnerability does
The Happy Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data due to insufficient authorization on the duplicate_thing() function in all versions up to, and including, 3.10.4. This makes it possible for attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to clone arbitrary posts (including private and password protected ones) which may lead to information exposure.
Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Happy Addons for Elementor versions up to 3.10.4 lack proper authorization checks, allowing authenticated users to access sensitive information they should not be able to view. An attacker with a low-privilege account can read data that should be restricted to higher-privilege users. Update to a version newer than 3.10.4 to resolve this issue.
