The Element Pack Elementor Addons (Header Footer, Template Library, Dynamic Grid & Carousel, Remote Arrows) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 5.5.6 via the element_pack_ajax_search function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data including password protected post details.
Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Element Pack for Elementor versions up to 5.5.6 expose sensitive information to unauthenticated attackers over the network. The plugin fails to properly restrict access to certain data, allowing an attacker to read information that should be private. No user interaction or special privileges are required. Update to a version newer than 5.5.6.
