What the vulnerability does
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in HasTheme WishSuite allows Stored XSS.This issue affects WishSuite: from n/a through 1.3.7.
Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
WishSuite versions up to 1.3.7 contain a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows authenticated users to inject malicious scripts. When another user views a page containing the injected content, the script executes in their browser. This can lead to session hijacking, credential theft, or unauthorized actions performed on behalf of the victim.
What an attacker can do
Inject malicious scripts that execute when other users view affected pages, potentially stealing sessions or performing actions as those users.
Potential impact on your site
Users' accounts and data are at risk if authenticated attackers inject scripts; visitor sessions and credentials may be compromised.
Conditions required to exploit
Attacker must have a low-privilege user account and the victim must visit a page containing the injected script.
