Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Smartarget Message Bar versions 1.5 and earlier contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An authenticated administrator with high privileges can inject malicious scripts into the message bar configuration. When another user views a page containing the message bar, the injected script executes in their browser, potentially stealing session data or performing actions on their behalf.
