Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Dark Mode for WP Dashboard versions up to 1.2.3 contain a cross-site request forgery vulnerability. An attacker can craft a malicious link or page that, when visited by a logged-in site administrator, performs unwanted actions on the site without the admin's knowledge. The vulnerability requires the admin to click the link or visit the attacker's page while logged into WordPress.
