Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
The DarkMySite Advanced Dark Mode plugin for WordPress versions up to 1.2.8 contains a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability. An attacker can craft a malicious webpage that, when visited by a logged-in site administrator, performs unwanted actions on the site without the admin's knowledge or consent. The vulnerability requires user interaction—the admin must visit the attacker's page—but no authentication is needed from the attacker's side.
