What the vulnerability does
The Breakdance plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized access of data in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to export form submissions.
Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Breakdance versions up to 1.7.1 contain an access control flaw that allows authenticated users to modify data they should not have permission to change. An attacker with a low-privilege account can alter content or settings through improper permission checks. The vulnerability requires an existing user account but no additional user interaction.
