What the vulnerability does
The Content Writer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.8 through publicly exposed log files. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to view potentially sensitive information contained in the exposed log files.
Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Content Writer versions 3.6.8 and earlier expose sensitive information through improper logging or data exposure. An attacker on the network can read limited confidential data without authentication or user interaction. The vulnerability has a low confidentiality impact and does not affect data integrity or availability. Update to a version newer than 3.6.8.
