What the vulnerability does
The SurveyJS: Drag & Drop WordPress Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.2. This is due to missing nonce validation on the SurveyJS_AddSurvey AJAX action. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to create surveys via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
SurveyJS Drag & Drop Form Builder versions up to 2.5.2 are vulnerable to cross-site request forgery (CSRF). An attacker can trick a logged-in user into performing unintended actions on the form builder by crafting a malicious link or page. The attacker cannot read data, but can modify form configurations or settings if the user visits the malicious page while authenticated.
