Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Metadata SEO versions 2.3 and earlier contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An authenticated user can inject malicious scripts that execute in other users' browsers when they view affected pages. The vulnerability requires user interaction—the victim must visit a page containing the attacker's payload. Impact is limited to low-level data theft or session hijacking within the site.
