Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
The mcjh button shortcode plugin contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in versions up to 1.6.4. An authenticated user with low privileges can inject malicious scripts into button shortcode parameters. When other users view pages containing the affected shortcode, the injected script executes in their browser, potentially compromising their session or stealing data.
