Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Sidebar-Content from Shortcode versions 2.0 and earlier contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An authenticated user with low privileges can inject malicious scripts through shortcode parameters. When another user views the affected content, the script executes in their browser, potentially allowing the attacker to steal session tokens or perform actions on their behalf.
