Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Gigaom Sphinx versions 0.1 and earlier contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into web pages. The vulnerability affects the scope beyond the vulnerable component itself. An attacker can exploit this by crafting a malicious link or page that, when visited by a user, executes arbitrary JavaScript in their browser.
