Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
The Shipping with Venipak for WooCommerce plugin contains a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into web pages viewed by site visitors. An attacker can craft a malicious link that, when clicked by a user, executes arbitrary JavaScript in their browser. This can lead to session hijacking, credential theft, or defacement. The vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 1.22.3.
