Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
AppBanners versions 1.5.14 and earlier contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows an authenticated administrator to inject malicious scripts. The vulnerability requires user interaction—typically a victim visiting a crafted page—and can affect other users on the site. An attacker with high-level privileges can inject code that steals session tokens or modifies site content.
