Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
WP User Profiles versions 2.6.2 and earlier contain an improper privilege escalation vulnerability. An authenticated user with low privileges can read, modify, or delete sensitive data and functionality on the site. The vulnerability requires only network access and no user interaction. Site administrators should update immediately to a version newer than 2.6.2.
