Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Author Bio Shortcode versions 2.5.3 and earlier contain a cross-site scripting vulnerability. An authenticated user with low privileges can inject malicious scripts through the plugin's shortcode handling. When another user views a page containing the affected shortcode, the injected script executes in their browser, potentially allowing the attacker to steal session data or perform actions on their behalf.
