Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
DobsonDev Shortcodes versions 2.1.12 and earlier contain a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An authenticated user with low privileges can inject malicious scripts into shortcode content. When other users view pages containing the affected shortcodes, the injected scripts execute in their browsers, potentially compromising their sessions or stealing sensitive data.
