Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
MediaView versions 1.1.2 and earlier contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into web pages viewed by other users. The vulnerability requires user interaction—victims must visit a crafted link or page. Successful exploitation can compromise user sessions, steal credentials, or deface site content. Update to a version newer than 1.1.2.
