Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Universal Video Player versions 3.8.3 and earlier contain a cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into the player. An attacker can craft a malicious video URL or embed code that executes JavaScript in the browser of any user who views the affected player. The vulnerability requires user interaction—the victim must visit a page containing the malicious player embed.
