Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Back Button Widget versions 1.6.8 and earlier contain a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An authenticated user with low privileges can inject malicious JavaScript that executes in the browsers of other site visitors. The vulnerability requires user interaction—a victim must visit a page containing the injected payload. The impact is limited to low-severity data exposure and site defacement.
