Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Shortcodes Ultimate versions 7.3.5 and earlier contain a cross-site scripting vulnerability. An authenticated user with low privileges can inject malicious scripts through shortcode parameters. When another user views content containing the malicious shortcode, the attacker's script executes in their browser, potentially stealing session data or performing actions on their behalf.
