Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
CozyStay versions 1.7.1 and earlier contain a deserialization vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected systems. The vulnerability exists in how the application processes untrusted serialized data without proper validation. An attacker can exploit this remotely over the network without requiring authentication or user interaction to compromise the entire system.
What an attacker can do
Run arbitrary code on the server, read/modify all data, and take full control of the site.
Potential impact on your site
Complete system compromise: attackers can steal data, modify content, install backdoors, or shut down the site.
Conditions required to exploit
