Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
The WordPress Tooltips plugin through version 10.9.3 contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An authenticated user with low privileges can inject malicious scripts into tooltip content. When other users view pages containing the affected tooltips, the scripts execute in their browsers, potentially allowing the attacker to steal session tokens, modify page content, or perform actions on behalf of victims.
