Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Universal Video Player versions 3.8.4 and earlier contain a cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into the player interface. An attacker can craft a malicious link or embed code that, when visited or loaded by a site visitor, executes JavaScript in the victim's browser. This can lead to session hijacking, credential theft, or defacement of the affected page.
