Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Photo Gallery versions up to 2.7.7.26 contain a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into the application. An attacker can craft a malicious link that, when visited by a site visitor, executes arbitrary JavaScript in the victim's browser. This can lead to session hijacking, credential theft, or defacement. The vulnerability requires user interaction—the victim must click the attacker's link.
