Joomla! CMS versions 4.0.0 through 5.4.6 contain a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. An authenticated administrator with high privileges can inject malicious scripts that execute in other users' browsers when they view affected content. The vulnerability requires user interaction—victims must visit a page containing the injected payload. This allows attackers to steal session tokens, perform actions on behalf of victims, or redirect users to malicious sites.
