What the vulnerability does
Subscriber Privilege Escalation in WP BASE Booking <= 6.3.1 versions.
Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
WP BASE Booking versions up to 6.3.1 contain an insufficient privilege validation flaw that allows authenticated users with low-level access to read, modify, or delete sensitive data and functionality. An attacker with a standard user account can escalate their capabilities within the plugin without additional authorization checks. This affects confidentiality, integrity, and availability of booking data.
What an attacker can do
Read, modify, or delete booking data and plugin settings with a low-privilege user account.
Potential impact on your site
Booking data, customer information, and plugin settings can be compromised by any logged-in user, not just administrators.
Conditions required to exploit
Attacker must have a valid WordPress user account with at least subscriber-level access.
