Explanation of Vulnerability in Simple Terms
Sirv versions up to 7.2.0 contain a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows authenticated users to make the Sirv service send requests to internal or external systems on their behalf. An attacker with low-level account access can craft requests to access restricted resources or interact with services that should not be directly reachable. The vulnerability requires valid credentials but no user interaction.
